It was a father’s love that led to the birth of Kumon. Ever since he was convinced that his 8 year old son, Takeshi would be able to solve advanced mathematical problems as long as the proper learning materials were relayed to Takeshi.

He began cracking his brains to develop worksheets specifically for his son and, at the same time, guided Takeshi throughout the following years.
