Mr. Leow Tit Ban founded Ban Heang in the year 1997 in order to spread his love for Penang’s famous Tambun biscuits. He created many different flavors that his customers could enjoy, including orange, pandan, coffee, and spicy shrimp flavor. Aiming to make Ban Heang a company that can represent Penang’s local products on the international stage, Leow relocated Ban Heang in 2010, moving to Macalister Road in the center of Penang. 

Aside from that, he also made several reformations on Ban Heang’s products, improving their packaging and quality to make them more appealing. At the same time, he provided regular on the job training to Customer Service in order to improve their professional selling and customer service skills.
