Nahlan Saade, the founder and owner of BETTER FROM SCRATCH, started the business as a hobby from her house in December 2014 at the age of 20.

The business was launched through an Instagram and Facebook page and the account hit 1000 followers in the first four days purely organic. Within the first month 450 orders were made and this is when it hit Ms. Nahlan that this is a serious business and no longer just a small house project.

The first store opened in December 2016 in Clemenceau Beirut, and two years later they expanded into a central kitchen which allowed them to grow both the team and their product range.

BETTER FROM SCRATCH serves multicultural middle to high-¬end income customers. The size of a typical BETTER FROM SCRATCH is between 40 sq. meters and 100 sq. meters with a customer flow of 50 to 100 per day
