The history of chocolate begins in Mesoamerica where the Mayans and Aztecs are believed to be the first to discover cocoa as early as 1900 BC. Cacao seeds were believed to be a sign of wisdom. After its arrival to Europe in the sixteenth century, Chocolate became popular throughout the society, first among the ruling classes and then among the common people. In today's world chocolate is the simplest yet the tastiest way to make a special occasions even more wonderful and unforgettable as it expresses love, care and happiness in a stylish and luxury way.

The Bostani family started producing confectionery and candies in Syria back in 1879. In 1962, they started their chocolate production line in Aleppo.
